According to the present development trend, the consumption of non – rubber additives in 2005 will not exceed 4000 tons of morpholine. Therefore, an oversupply of morpholine will appear, and many countries have already banned toxic promoters, morpholine also appear different degrees of surplus, will not be imported from our country, morpholine development prospects are worrying.
At present, the domestic morph production has been able to meet the market demand, so it is not suitable to build a new device, the existing device should be improved and improve the technology, focusing on improving product quality, reducing costs, to promote the development and application of other downstream products with high quality and low price. The purity of many morpholine products produced by domestic devices is not high, but also leads to the degradation of the quality of promoters, so we should develop high purity pharmaceutical products in the future.
A considerable proportion of morpholine was used for metal corrosion inhibitors abroad, mainly as metal gas antirust agent, to prevent metal from being corroded by atmosphere, and has been widely used in machinery instruments, automobiles, medical instruments and other fields, China just started in this area. It is used for the modification of water-based polymers. It has good compatibility with a variety of prepolymers and multi-functional acrylamide.
